Here is a really unique piece of vintage Turquoise jewelry. Take a look at this old pawn Mercury Dime Necklace with High Grade Turquoise. This piece features a strand of handmade coin silver (Mercury Dime) beads from the late 1940’s. This Mercury Dime necklace is accented by 12 handmade coin silver squash blossoms. The bottom of the necklace is adorned with a sand-cast coin silver Naja pendant. The naja is accented with three cabochons of high grade natural Turquoise Mountain Turquoise from Southern Arizona (Gleeson / Courtland, AZ). The Turquoise is stunning, a bright blue with golden yellow matrix. This piece has restrung on heavy duty “Fox Tail” braided silver wire and finished off with a handmade Sterling Silver clasp by John Hartman. The clasp features the Southwestern Jewelry hallmark “Durango Silver .925 J. Hartman”.
This necklace measures approx. 30 inches long. The squash blossom measures 3 inches x 2 3/8 inches.
