This Lone Mountain Turquoise Nugget Specimen by John Hartman is tops. The focal point of the piece is a 99.55 carat natural Lone Mountain Turquoise nugget from Nevada, USA. This wonderful piece of natural American Turquoise is 100% natural and is considered AAA top gem grade. The color of the natural Turquoise nugget is a beautiful sky or deep “robin’s egg blue” and features brown Spiderweb matrix. The Lone Mountain Turquoise specimen was mine in the 1960’s and was recently polished by John Hartman. John set the nugget in the Lone Mountain Turquoise Nugget Specimen Alter with a fancy filigree style Sterling Silver bezel. This is surrounded by a bead design which sits atop the thick sandstone textured base. To the outside of the display piece are repose and bead designed fern leaf design accented with raindrops and flowers. John cut out the base in between the stone setting and the leafs so that there are see through holes in the base for more detail. These holes make the piece able to hold incense for meditation purposes or for aromatic purposes if desired. The bottom of the piece features more leaf, flower and filigree designs. There are three hand stamped and fluted buttons that make the legs of the display.
