Below is a few Turquoise Rings produced by Durango Silver Company. We have described the Turquoise Rings and how they are made along with the type of Turquoise Stones that are in them. Check it out!
Above and to the left is a Lost Wax Turquoise Ring with a beautiful Blue Wind Spiderweb Turquoise Stone from Nevada. This Turquoise ring was made by applying layer upon layer of molten wax with a hot Jewelers pen. Once the wax master of the Turquoise ring is made the piece is put in Jewelers investment (like plaster of paris), the wax is melted out in a burnout oven and then molten Silver or Gold is poured into the void on a vaccume casting machine or centrifical casting machine. The Turquoise Ring is then put through an entensive finishing process to complete a great piece of art.
To the right is a Silver and Turquoise Ring with a Blue Diamond Turquoise Gemstone. You can check out this Turquoise Ring on its presentation page by clicking on Silver and Turqoise Ring. Blue Diamond Turquoise is from west-central Nevada and has been out of production for many years.
To the left is a beautiful lime colored Turquoise Ring in Sterling Silver. This beautiful Turquoise Gemstone is from Tibet and has what we call spiderweb matrix running through the stone. The Turquoise Stone is bezel set, I mean set in a Silver bezel with no designs around the bezel, modern and contemporary. The ring shank is heavily stamped in a sunburst design. Durango Silver makes many rings in this style as this is a very popular style for our company.
To the right is a Red Mountain Turquoise Ring in Sterling Silver, Navajo Handcrafted. This is a very rare and valuable Turquoise gemstone that is seldom scene for sale. The stone was set in a Silver bezel followed by a twisted wire design, then 1/2 round wire that has line sawed in it with a Jewelers saw and then shaped with a file. This is a classic Navajo design that is timeless and very attractive when worn. You can read more on this piece on its presentation page.
