Durango Silver Company produces Sterling Silver Jewelry from the American Southwest. Our Silver Jewelry is high quality and each piece is handmade in the USA! Our Silver Jewelry is 100% Sterling Silver and each piece of our Sterling Silver Jewelry has a quality mark stamped in the piece of Jewelry, we guarantee our Silver Jewelry to be made with Sterling Silver. Sterling Silver Jewelry is made from .925 Silver which is 92.5% fine Silver with 7.5% alloy which has typically been copper in the past. New types of Sterling Silver are being produced today with different alloys such as Metalloid Germanium which is Argentium Sterling Silver. Argentium Sterling Silver is made with different alloys so the Sterling Silver Jewelry will not tarnish as easy as conventional Sterling Silver Jewelry has in the past, however, for collectors of Silver Jewelry, Argentium Sterling Silver is different and must be taken into consideration.
Durango Silver Company has been producing authentic Sterling Silver Jewelry for nearly 40 years. We produce and deal in high quality handmade Sterling Silver Jewelry with Southwestern styled design. We use many different gemstones, however, Turquoise is our gemstone of choice and we own and mine five different Turquoise mines in Nevada, USA.

Durango Silver Company produces a lot of mixed gemstones to create our Sterling Silver Jewelry, we invite you to take a look at the Silver Jewelry we have to offer by following the links to the left of this page.
Sterling Silver has been used exclusively in American Sterling Silver Jewelry for hundreds of years. Durango Silver Company has used Sterling Silver exclusively in our Silver Jewelry or Silver Jewellery since we began our business nearly 40 years ago. There are companies and native Americans that use other metals such as nickel silver that have no silver content, if the jewelry is not marked Sterling, Sterling Silver or .925 you may not have authentic Sterling Silver Jewelry. Always buy Sterling Silver Jewelry from reputable and trusted dealers.
