Durango Silver Company designs and manufactures
Western styled sterling silver jewelry. Turquoise is the primary stone used in our jewelry , however, many differant stone types are used as well to acompany the fine detail in every piece we produce. Our Retail / Wholesale Store has been located in Durango since 1976. We have been traders to the Navajo and other area tribes since 1968. Our love for fine western silverwork and natural high grade Turquoise comes from our upbringing in the Southwest.

Durango Silver uses Sterling Silver, Gold, Turquoise, Variscite, Sugilite, Lapis, Opal, Corals and a wide range of gemstones to create some of the finest jewelry being produced in the Southwestern United States.

Our jewelry designs are created in-house by John and Dillon Hartman. We manufacture many of our pieces here in Durango as well as contract our designs to multiple Navajo Silversmiths. We hand cut the Turquoise, Variscite, Coral and Sugilite used in our jewelry. We trade Turquoise stones to Native Americans to have our designs made in sterling silver.

Durango Silver Company also designs pieces for other companies, associations, special interest groups and even governments. We would be happy to consult with your association to develop a product or line to suite your needs. We can work in most any metal bronze, pewter, copper, sterling silver, gold and others.
